Rain Delay or Rainout?

Right now (about 9:20 a.m.) weather conditions are looking pretty dismal for a morning hike.  We had an incredible thunderstorm last night that dropped pea- to quarter-sized hail; the hail lasted for quite a while.  Then we had heavy rain.  It continued to come down on-and-off during the overnight.  Our entire property is inundated with deep puddles of rainwater.  I haven't even been able to get Becca out into the backyard to do her business.  There's supposed to be a slight break in the rain coming up, but I don't think it will be long enough to get in even a short trek.
