Arroyo Seco

View from the upper left arroyo branch
Willow, Frio and I did pretty much the same hike as yesterday:  down LDR-A to the parallel arroyo entrance, down that arroyo to the east/west trail, east on that trail until we hit the new arroyo which we followed up to the left/right branch junction.

We took the left branch and trekked up almost to the head where we noticed a car parked near the Tellbrook/Sonoma Ranch intersection.  We turned around and hiked back to the left/right branch junction and then took the right branch all the way to its head.

Once there we climbed the steep trail that leads to the upper flatland road, which we followed over to our waiting CR-V.

I really like that first photo of the tree. And of course I love all of the different photos of the Heelers.

Great desert photos! Of course the dogs always shine. :) I do like that B&W of the Soaptree Yuccas. Would you mind if I download, just to use a a screensaver for a while? I won't do anything else with it. If not, no worries at all!
