Starting off early down LDR-A

I extended the hike significantly this morning:  down LDR-A to the Tellbrook Arroyo, east in the Tellbrook to the arroyo Becca and I explored often, north in that arroyo to the road into the eastern hills.  We turned around there, headed back down the arroyo to the Tellbrook, crossed over to the new arroyo and followed the right branch up and out on the steep hill beside the upper flatland road.

Willow and Frio had a blast, but taking them along the different route created a slight problem for me; whenever they explore a new area they're high on scents and full of piss and vinegar.  Fortunately we only encountered one fleeing jackrabbit that grabbed their attention.

They sniffed, and I spotted, quite a few javelina tracks in an arroyo, and Frio was particularly taken by the holes peccaries had dug searching for roots to eat.  All in all a good outing today.
