Below 50F

This Soaptree Yucca had no flowers yesterday
It was 49F this morning, much colder than it's been of late.  Nevertheless I still went out with shorts and a short-sleeve shirt; Dr. K wore a jacket.  Willow and Frio stuck to their coats.

We did our normal hike, seeing no other nature enthusiast while we were out there.  On the drive up to the trailhead, though, we saw the Basset people with their hounds walking up Tellbrook Road.  Never spotted them again.

We had a decent outing today, getting in a nice amount of exercise in the process.

I like the images of the Prickly Pear flowers that are almost open.
