Blooming Desert

1st 2:  Soaptree Yuccas along LDR-A
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I got a bit of an early start this morning, and we did our usual hike in a slightly hot desert; several shade breaks were taken along the way.

We didn't see anybody out there, but evidence of the Basset Hounds was apparent--several piles of poop in the middle of LDR-A.  I had to keep curious Heelers away from the feces.

After returning home Dr. K and I took showers and headed over to our local Walgreens to get the first of our shingles vaccinations.  Even though we made appointments we had to wait nearly an hour for the shots despite there being no apparent reason for the long wait.  Grrrrr!

Nice photos of the House Finch eating bugs on the Yucca flowers. My favorite is the first one.
