Monday Solo with the "O"s

Small Soaptree Yucca at the west side of LDR-A
Dr. K went shopping this morning; Willow, Frio and I hit the trail.  It was already pretty warm out there when we started off, and we're set to break 90F this afternoon.

The desert is abuzz with countless bees and other insects taking full advantage of all the flowering plants; the blossoming Creosote Bushes are especially attractive targets for pollinators.

Did our usual hike:  down LDR-A and into the adjoining arroyo, toward the Organ Mountains on the east/west cross trail, up the left branch arroyo, down the middle, and then up and out of the right branch.  Other than jackrabbits, insects and birds we saw no other desert denizens today.
