Heat is On 2

Soaptree Yucca
65F at start of our morning hike today felt pretty toasty; the only saving grace was a slight wind that blew occasionally.

Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I did our usual trek spotting desert denizens along the way, but not seeing the Basset Hounds with their people.

We enjoyed our daily outing despite the heat, and we were rewarded for our effort by the spectacular Strawberry Hedgehog blossom we encounter just at the base of the steep hill beside Right Branch Arroyo.
