Pretty Darn Hot

1st 3:  Soaptree Yuccas blooming everywhere
Rather toasty when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I did our regular morning hike.  As we were headed down LDR-A we spotted the two Basset people in the northwest distance bushwhacking through the desert with their hounds.  They were the only nature enthusiasts we saw today.

We got in a decent amount of exercise between shade breaks; during those breaks we were fortunate not to encounter ants so we felt free to linger.

You can't linger long in a hot desert, though, so we traipsed out of there to get to the CR-V for the short drive home.
