Midway Moment

Come back, Mom!
Even though it was rather hot when we set off on our morning trek today the humidity was a bit higher and a slight overcast kept the conditions bearable.

We followed the usual route noting some interesting subjects along the way:  hummingbirds, a Pyyrhuloxia, a Mourning Dove, and numerous flowers, the most notable of the latter being some Soaptree Yucca blossoms popping on a flower stalk in the right branch arroyo.

Saw no Basset Hounds with their people, nor other canine or hominid nature lovers.
