It's forecast to be in the low to mid 90s every day here for the next 10 days, Packrat, and no rain in sight. It's not the 100s, of. Purse, but it is still a long, protracted week-plus of misery.
Sorry for the weird typing in my last comment. I'm typing on my iPad.
Good thing you told me about the typing, Scott. I thought you were drunk. :)
Your upcoming heatwave sounds pretty unpleasant. Here in LC we've only had a few 100-degree-plus days, so I can't really complain. Problem is, though, we're way above normal for this time of year--by ten degrees or more. In High Rolls we got up to 86 F one day, but the nights were wonderful, low 60s; so when I walked around the property with Becca in the mornings it felt absolutely great. Hard to return here after that.
At least we were able to get one last hike in before going down into the desert.
