Especially Hot Morning

Zombie heads will roll
It was especially toasty when Willow, Frio and I set off on our morning trek today, and it didn't get any better while we were out there.  Even the breeze that picked up on our return from First Arroyo was a warm one.

The Heelers were very well behaved today, not straining at their leads, not getting too attached to any scent they happened upon.

We kicked up a jackrabbit as we were entering First Arroyo, but only Willow saw it, and, due to the heat, didn't feel inclined to chase.  Thank god for that.
