Bridal Veil Falls looks more substantial in your video than it did in your still images last time. Sorry for giving you a hard time, Packrat.
On Thanksgiving morning, as I was preparing breakfast and listening to the radio, the announcer said that drought conditions nationwide had worsened and had now spread to 46 of the 48 conterminous states. I know that we'd be hurting here if we were still in the growing season; our creek is very low. We haven't had any rain since the passage of Hurricane Sandy, and that was three weeks ago. Plus, though Sandy's winds were very destructive, the storm wasn't accompanied by much rain (a mixed blessing).
Yes, the water flowed a bit more substantially at Bridal Veil Falls this time, Scott. I'm worried about the drought, too. Around here I've heard people talking about the aquifers being depleted significantly due to ranchers and farmers drawing on wells because their supply of surface water from Elephant Butte Reservoir has been really meager.
