Out on a Monday

Heading west on the outer loop road
Another unusually warm morning greeted Becca and I as we set off from the Sunset Parking area early.  Right off the bat we ran into Mr. Tacoma, who was headed for the top of Tortugas.  In the outback behind the mountain we encountered a woman jogger who was running on the inner loop road.  Becca was on her best behavior with both outdoorspersons.  We extended the hike quite a ways because it was so darned beautiful out there.
Where we came from

There's a Mule Deer looking toward us in the center of this image

That's Jimmy trucking across the desert in his Toyota

The Organs in your second image look like a painted backdrop! Beautiful light today.
