The High and Lowdown

West of Tortugas Mountain
After a morning hike in the lower desert we packed up and rolled to the high country for a long holiday weekend.  Becca is always happy when we head to High Rolls because she gets to see her mountain pals.  The big brown one--Hoss--came to see her in the early afternoon, and they got to romp around together for quite a while before he headed home.  Later this evening three or four neighboring canines will come for a visit.  Hopefully the rain will hold off until after visitation.

Becca seemed a little unsure in the first image of her with Hoss, but clearly that didn't last long. Have a good holiday, Packrat and Dr. K!
