Errand Day

Becca spots a mountain biker on one of the dirt roads that intersects the one we're hiking on.  Notice how barren the Ocotillos are now.  It was quite chilly out there this morning owing to the stiff breeze that blew constantly.  With the exception of the mountain biker--who we saw at a distance--we didn't see anybody else out and about.  It was probably too cold for the casual outdoorspersons.  I did the entire hike in extra-warm clothing, including gloves, and never felt I was overdressed.
