Labor Day on the Mountain

Early start under a cloudy sky
Not surprisingly, since it's a long holiday weekend, Tortugas Mountain was crowded with people this morning.  Nice to see so many enthusiasts enjoying the Great Outdoors, but I wish parents would reign in their young children a bit when out in public.  For our entire hike Becca and I could hear kids screaming at the tops of their lungs from the mountaintop.  They weren't yelling words to one another, just screaming their heads off.  Old Fogey alert:  when my brother and I were kids we did not scream; we did not scream because our parents made it crystal clear that screaming was not permitted.
Cool, but with high humidity
