Linda

Getting started on the west side
Not a woman named Linda, but a hurricane by that name is what I'm referring to in the blog title.  Why?  Because we have a huge influx of moisture from Hurricane Linda, which had been churning up the west coast of the U.S., but is now turning out to sea.  Nevertheless the moisture is streaming into the American Southwest, increasing the likelihood of storms over the next few days.  Parts of Arizona are already under flash-flood warnings.
See my cotton tail?

Buggy whips

High foothills trail

Tortugas's western flank

Organ Mountains

Patches of blue sky quickly disappeared

Long way to the distant mountains

Raining over yonder

Dirt road roller coaster ride

Out of the lower wasteland

Threatening sky

Back toward the Tortoise

Tortugas and the Organs

Heading into a storm?

Up an S-curve

Right back into the foothills

Stingleaf flower (this is a plant you don't want to touch)
