Runners on the Mountain

I should have known there was going to be a lot of activity on and around Tortugas Mountain when Becca and I saw a huge RV parked at the Sunset Area entrance road.  Sure enough, an organized race was just getting started.  We avoided the brunt of runners, but we couldn't avoid them altogether, and on the inbound leg we had to slow down in order not to overtake three "spent" participants who were walking like snails ahead of us.

Xmas Eve
