Headed up around that Torrey Yucca in the distance |
There wasn't really a convention out in the desert this morning, but Becca and I did run into quite a few people, some that Becca was really glad to encounter. On our inbound leg, at the first main intersection of two trails, we bumped into JC, Olivia and Jimmy who were engaged in discussion. After they greeted the Beckster we all started gabbing when a man and woman coming down the wider trail stopped to talk to us. The man was the 90-year-old father of the woman, and we expressed delight that he was out hiking on such a beautiful morning. The woman and her father were dog lovers, and they petted and flattered Becca with "pretty girl" compliments. After those two headed back toward the cars two other people walked by and stopped briefly to say hello and to comment on Becca, who was, by then, lying down in the shade. So, all in all, it was quite a good day for Becca, meeting friends and strangers alike.

I'm not surprised that Becca has so many admirers. What's not to love?
Indeed, Dr. K. :)
